Your domain name is your unique internet web address, so choose something compatible with you and/or your business.
You'll also need to consider whether you want a global domain, or a country-coded one. (They'll all be accessible globally.)
Anyone can register global .com .net .org .biz or .info domains, but a relatively strict policy applies to all Australian .au domains. So if you're a business and decide you want an Australian domain name, you'll need to supply us with your ABN or ACN.
Be aware that you cannot change your domain name after registration - domain name registrars do not give refunds!
You domain name will be portable. It can be delegated to the hosting company of your choice.
